We are excited to get back to touring and cruising and helping you to experience all Charleston has to offer! As we move towards a phased reopening of our tours and cruise experiences, the health and well-being of our guests and crew members is our number one priority. We are closely monitoring the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization as well as the guidance of our local health departments and authorities on best practices for reopening. We will continue to assess, refine, and update our standards to keep you safe as new information is available.
Return to Cruising & Touring
The Schooner Pride will set sail starting Thursday May 28 for Sunset Sails. The Charleston Harbor Tour aboard the Carolina Belle will tentatively begin Wed June 3rd. The Charleston Lady is available for reasonably priced small group private charter pricing for harbor tours or a sunset cruise beginning Friday June 5th. Our bus tours are tentatively programmed to return mid-June. We will update this page as our schedule expands.
COVID 19 Safety Measures
We are limiting capacity on both boat and bus tours to provide for social distancing, as well as arranging seating to encourage social distancing.
We are proving increased hand sanitizer accessibility at our boarding locations as well as on the boats and buses.
To protect our employees and guests, all guests and employees must have face coverings.
Our boats and buses are being cleaned between each tour at key touch points with an EPA-approved disinfectant.
All our boats and buses will be under-going a deep cleaning procedure on a nightly basis.
Transactions will be cashless., please take advantage of options to add drink packages to your ticket purchase ahead of time.
All guests will have to sign off on a COVID questionnaire affirming that they have not had symptoms for the past 14 days. (This is a requirement by the City of Charleston).

Frequently Asked Questions
Will face coverings be required?
Masks are required to be worn by staff and all guests over the age of 2 when social distancing is not possible, and people are unable to maintain 6’ of distancing. While the open air decks of our vessels provide you the opportunity for a fresh air experience, there are other times on the boats and buses while moving around, embarking and disembarking, etc. when the keeping 6’ distance from others is simply not possible. We know some guests may find this objectionable, but we believe this is the right way to operate to keep our employees safe and to provide the safest touring environment in today’s uncertain world.
How are you screening employees?
Employees are being screened daily for temperatures upon arrival, as well as being asked to fill out COVID symptom screening questionnaire.
How will you handle groups and charters?
Groups and charters are still available but will still subject to our operating guidelines on maintain employee and guest safety. Please call our sales team directly at 843-722-1112 with specific questions about details for your group or charter.
How are you cleaning/cleaning sanitizing the boats and buses?
In response to COVID-19 we have augmented our already stringent cleaning procedures with additional disinfecting and sanitizing protocols. Staff members have been providing with additional specific training on our updated cleaning protocols. Boats and buses will undergo a deep cleaning at the end of every service day. Additionally, we have put procedures into place to frequently sanitize high touch areas throughout the day.
